I’ve been a bit busy lately with Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 so I haven’t posted anything in a while but as soon as I saw this parody from Jay Leno about Call of Duty, I had to post it. Enjoy.

Recently Battlefield 3 posted a video on their Facebook page about a teaser for Battlefield 4. I was very curious as Battlefield 3 is only a couple days away from being release and they couldn’t have possible started considering Battlefield 4. Checking out the YouTube video, it turns out its a fan made video by a couple of guys named Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatsch.

About two hours later I had gone through a number of Freddie and Brandon’s videos. Wow…. highly impressed. The quality of these videos is extremely well done. The choreography, cinematography, music and special effects all impressed me. I’ve seen worse videos on the SyFy channel and these guys are just doing this for fun. Granted I’m sure its getting them a reputation in the movie/tv industry but its well deserved. What I also like is that they have a second YouTube channel that does behind the scenes looks on how they make there videos. For someone like me who has to watch all the extras of a DVD, this is very cool. I’m excited to see what they come up with in the future and to see where their careers go.

Viral Video Monday: Portal: No Escape

This week’s Viral Video Monday comes from a fan made video based on Portal. Its called Portal: No Escape and is a live action short movie. The people who did it are incredible talented and the only flaw I see is that it was a full length feature film. I think if Valve were to ever make a movie, they should hire the people that did this. I hope they make a sequel.

I saw a really cool video on Friday of time lapse photography with landscapes. Click here to see it. It really inspired me as I really enjoy landscape photography and they just look amazing. So first step was to give it a try. Here is ice melting. Yes I know its boring but results turned out well.

I’m a huge fan of Marvel Comics and recently the teaser trailer for Thor has been released. I’m really excited for this movie as its part of a multi-movie leading up to the big one, The Avengers. If you haven’t seen it, be sure to take a look.
